The Vario Pulse Drive DMX Driver units are very simple to set up.

Step (1)

For stand alone operation use the up / down buttons to select the desired program number.

508 = channel 1 on

509 = channel 2 on

510 = channel 3 on

511 = ALL channels on

512 = Self test

Step (2)

To set any of the above programs you MUST press and hold BOTH buttons for one second to set the chosen program into memory. Once done this setting will remain even after the unit has been powered off and back on again.

For DMX Addressing use the up / down buttons to select the desired DMX address. Once chosen please press and hold BOTH buttons for one second to hold the address in memory.

Known Driver Faults.

If a DXM Driver has no display yet the power input is known to be in working order it is possible that at some stage of the DMX stream the LED OUTPUT of a driver has been plugged into the DMX INPUT of the following driver.

Unplug all input / output leads from the driver.

If the display comes back on then set the unit to self test and then check the unit with a dmx input.

If you have unplugged all cables and there is still no display this means that the driver has suffered a major over voltage condition in the DMX ports and may need replacing.
